Oats are an absolute favourite and I start my day everyday with it. All my friends know that I can eat oats each day without cribbing and the sole reason is because oats are so versatile. There are some amazing combinations that you can make and the best part is that you can do it as per your liking. There are no set rules.
I love mine with a lot of fruits and nuts. This time I tried it with my favourite peanut butter, some dark chocolate, lots of bananas and almonds. Healthy, nutritious and power packed.
Lets get started with the recipe.
- ¾th Cup Oats (I use Quaker Regular Oats0
- 1½ Cup Milk
- 1 Ripe Banana ( Sliced)
- ¼th Cup Almonds Chopped
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- ½ Tsp Cinnamon Powder
- Dark Chocolate-2 to 3
- Some Cranberries
- Chocolate Sprinklers
- In a pot, add oats. Cook it on low flame for 2-3 mins until slightly brown. Then add the milk and cover it. Let it cook for 5 mins until done as per your liking. I like it a little gooey.
- Add in some cinnamon powder.
- Now in a bowl, add the cooked oats. Top it with Bananas, Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Cranberries, Almonds and some maple syrup.
