A perfect slice of tea cake is what makes me the most excited. Why I love tea cakes?? Because they are very light, perfect with your evening coffee and make the best snack whenever you have those hunger pangs. Banana Bread or the Banana Tea Cake have been my absolute favourite, but this Irish Cinnamon Tea Cake has somewhere come equally close. Its so light and airy. I like my tea cakes less sweet. I feel too much sugar just over powers all the flavours. Also you don’t want something extremely sweet with your coffee right??
The recipe for this one is really simple. No fancy ingredients and you can whip this up in clearly one bowl. So lets get started with the recipe now! Also you can tweak the flavour and add apples if you want. Apples and Cinnamon are a Match made in heaven as we all know. So go and check out the recipe soon.
