Summers are at its peak, and there is nothing better than keeping yourself hydrated through out the day. End number of summer coolers are required to beat the heat.
Hello Lovely Readers,
There is no need to say that it is extremely hot and humid. All that one does is to look out for something chilled every hour or so to quench the thirst. This is the time when you can sip in a lot of sugar if you are not drinking right. Always opt for natural and homemade coolers, with less sugar and sweetened through fresh fruits to keep yourself hydrated.
Have you tried my extremely popular recipe of Watermelon Limeade (Click Here), its one of my absolute favourite. This Mint Lemonade is another hit this season. Its turning out to be something I am having everyday. Lots of fresh mint leaves and lemon make this one perfect for summers. I also add some club soda to this recipe but you can purely use only water in the recipe too. Its totally up to you.
Lets get started with the recipe.
- 2 cups Water
- 1 cup Fresh Mint Leaves
- 3 to 4 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 cup Club Soda( You can use sparkling water or Just plain ice-water instead of soda)
- 1 cup Ice
- In a blender, blend together ½ cup water, mint leaves, lemon juice, sugar and salt.
- Pour this mixture equally in two jars or glasses. Add the remaining water. Top it with Club Soda and Lots of Ice.
- Garnish it with fresh mint leaves.
