Today’s recipe is a simple and easy Watermelon & Mint Sorbet. For all of you who don’t know what a sorbet is, it is a frozen dessert with artificial or natural flavours. To keep it natural and fresh, you can use fresh fruits instead of artificial flavours and it makes a huge difference.
Every time I open the refrigerator, I constantly look for something chilled to gulp down. Most of the times we land up having a scoop of ice-cream or soda kept in there. You need to replace these with more fresh ingredients so that you do not put on extra weight. Try and replace Cola’s and Soda’s with Fresh Fruit Juice or Mocktails. This season, sorbets are my absolute favourite. Reason being, they are light, chilled, replaces the cravings for ice-creams and sugar free. Isn’t that a complete win- win situation? Trust me guys, you have to try it out, and its going to make your summers soo much better. This recipe requires just 4 ingredients and you are sorted.. Yes, you heard me right. 4 ingredients like watermelons, lemon, mint and salt is all you need to make this sorbet..

- 2 cups watermelon (diced and frozen overnight)
- ¼th cup mint leaves
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp black salt
- Throw in all the ingredients in the blender, and blend until well incorporated. You can have it right away like a slushy too.
- Or put it in a container with lid, and freeze it for another couple of hours.
- Scoop out and enjoy!!
